As the current President of the Former Interpol Officers Association (FIOA), and on behalf of all the members of the FIOA, I wish to welcome you to our web site.

The FIOA is a worldwide organization of current and former employees of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) who are, or were, assigned to work at the Interpol General Secretariat in France or at the National Central Bureau of one of the member countries of Interpol. We also accept as Associate members, people from all occupations and nationalities who share our support of Interpol and our support of the various law enforcement entities of the world in the global fight against crime. 

The goals of the FIOA are to maintain social and/or business contacts between our members via FIOA publications as well as by national and international meetings of the Association, to support the Secretary General of Interpol, to support the Interpol mission, and to support the work of law enforcement personnel around the world in their fight against crime.

The bylaws of the FIOA are available for you to read on our web site and we encourage you to do so. If after reading our bylaws and learning more about the FIOA, you feel you may want to join the Association, we invite you to complete the online application for membership and to transmit it to us. You will be notified after we review your application and the FIOA Membership Committee accepts you. The cost of membership is $30.00 (USC) per year and many currencies in the world are accepted. You may also have your bank issue you an international money order payable to the FIOA in the equivalent of $30.00 (USC).

Please check our web site periodically as we are a relatively young organization and we expect many new and exciting changes to our Association. Information on these changes will be placed on the FIOA web site as soon as possible. (Some information is restricted to members only. If you are accepted as a member you will be furnished a userid and password to enable you to access our members only pages).
